Training and Research in Conservations
Agreement has been reached with Dr Numan Tuna, Head of an interdisciplinary research centre at the Middle Eastern Technical Unversity dealing with the evaluation of historical environments. According to this agreement, groups working in conservation, archaeometry, museums and data-base management at METU will use the Çatalhöyük laboratories for training and research. The facility will also be used by the Department of Archaeology at the University of Thessaloniki and by the Engineering Centre for Archaeology at Cairo University.
