The 'Zentrum für Kunst- und Medientechnologie Karlsruhe' has already produced a wonderful 3D animation of Çatalhöyük. The camera moves round a 'virtual reality' reconstruction of the site and of the insides of the houses, goes past the paintings and looks at the bull sculptures, and finally moves up the ladder onto the roof. This very exciting initiative is now to be developed in conjunction with the project and the videos will be shown to visitors to the site and in site promotion and publicity. Other plans are being pursued for film documentaries.
