PUBLIC PROGRAMMING AND DISPLAYS

The team continued to document the work at Çatalhöyük for future exhibits and programs. We developed new exhibits for the Çatalhöyük dig house display room including three interpretive panels about the environment of the Konya Plain, the Pinarba site, and satellite views of the Konya Plain from space. Exhibit panels about the Pinarbasi site were also installed at Karaman Museum.
With funding from the Teaching with Technology program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, a team from the Science Museum collected interviews, video footage and photographic images for use in a educational web site about Çatalhöyük for middle school and high school students in the United States.
