Welcome to the tenth anniversary edition of our newsletter. Work began at Çatalhöyük in 1993 and the last ten years’ work is now in its final publication stage. A brief outline of this year’s activities at Çatalhöyük, important discoveries, and different aspects of research being conducted at the site are presented here. More detailed information is available in the archive report (http://www.catalhoyuk.com/Archive_rep03/index.html).
The project works in Turkey with a permit provided by the Turkish Ministry of Culture, and under the auspices of the British Institute of Archaeology at Ankara. It is supported by the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, the University of Cambridge, Stanford University, and the Institute of Archaeology, UCL.
